ABOUT ME
My name is Amanda. I'm a director and filmmaker currently based out of Southern Utah.

While originally studying theatre education, I took a directing class that changed my life. As much as I loved being on the stage, I realized how much I enjoyed being behind the scenes and putting together all the pieces to tell a story.

As a guest lecturer for one of my classes, Broadway director Lonny Price told us "Actors are gems, and a director's job is to set them in just the right light to refract their shine and brilliance for all to see". This is a philosophy that I have adopted for my own directing. My aim is not to order my actors how to do something, but to work together with them to produce the best possible result.

When I'm not at rehearsals or in production meetings, I enjoy watching and making movies with my husband James, teaching myself editing software, going for long drives, and listening to The Beatles.
